In addition to the work, duties and powers mentioned elsewhere in this Act, the work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-
(a) To formulate the annual plan, program and budget of the council and submit it to the council for approval,
(b) To determine the terms, methods and procedures related to the granting of affiliation to associations and organizations that wish to be affiliated with the Council and submit them to the Council for approval,
(c) Under the policy and guidance approved by the Council, to conduct promotional programs related to youth development, mobilization and youth empowerment, (D) Conducting campaign work to mobilize the youth in the mainstream of development (e) Conducting and conducting programs related to self-employment promotion and entrepreneurship enhancement for the youth,
(f) mobilizing youth as volunteers in the field of development, construction and social service (g) Conduct awareness programs to include the youth in national development (h) Studying and conducting research on youth development and youth mobilization issues (i) Conducting and organizing programs that help the youth to become self-reliant (j) Taking initiatives to involve the youth from policy formulation to implementation level,
(k) Prepare and implement an internal control system to make the work done by the council economical and efficient and to make the financial accountability system reliable,
(l) Coordinating the programs conducted by various agencies related to youth,
(d) Managing information related to youth and preparing integrated data,
(d) To enhance the capacity of youth-related associations and organizations (n) To perform other tasks as specified.
